"Imagine the Ultimate Headache Eliminating Business Solution..."
Dear friend,
Do you ever feel like everyone in your industry is earning a nice healthy living, producing and launching new products and programs on a monthly basis...everyone, that is, except you?
Let's face it, you probably, like most of us in the industry, opened up shop with the best of intentions. You want to inspire, engage, and help a ton of people while providing for your family and those you care about most. The problem is, while you absolutely adore the performance part of your profession, there are lots of business necessities that just don't float your boat.
In fact, see if any of the following statements ring true for you:
- You love working with your clients but don't enjoy running the business.
- To you, marketing and self-promotion makes you feel like you're just one step above a used car salesman.
- You're a big picture person and find all the little details to be a complete, yet necessary nuisance.
- You spent good money on more than one training program or home study course on how to build a business but typically end up completing only a small percentage of the work before shelving the entire set, mostly because while those programs tell you what you need to do, they don't lead you step by step through exactly how to do it.
- You take much longer to launch a web site, program, or product than your colleagues and competitors. In fact, you have at least one half-finished or completed project that's just sitting on your computer hard drive gathering dust.
- You don't enjoy writing and can't afford to pay a consultant thousands of dollars to write the sales letters, newsletters, articles, or web copy that would attract and keep more paying clients.
- You aren't a technical person and get frustrated with figuring out how to set up all that internet "stuff" yourself.
Or How About All of the Above?
Don't worry. You aren't alone.
I don't care if you are a life coach, business coach, writer, consultant, information product developer, or public speaker, every business needs one thing in order to grow and survive without struggle:
SUPPORT.
Think about it. If you had access to a support team that would handle all the parts of your business that are completely necessary but that personally drive you crazy, what would you do with all that free time?
- Spend an overdue long weekend with your family or significant other.
- Get in some quality "you" time at the gym or spa.
- Get your hands dirty creating that new video series you've been meaning to launch.
- Take an influential business leader out to lunch.
- Catch up on your continuing education by finally reading some of those books and training materials lying around your office.
- Sit and read a book for pleasure, guilt-free!
How you use your time is completely up to you.
But understand if you continue doing everything yourself, you will never see the progress that you want at the rate that you want it. Worse than trading time for money like anyone else who works in a dead-end job, you are investing many more hours than you get compensated for.
To launch and sell a speaking engagement, product, or service you need the following items at a minimum:
- Program/product outline
- Polished physical or digital version of your speech or product
- Promotional copy
- Technical support for sales and follow-up
- Process to take and manage payments
Not to mention the possibility of...
- Web pages (forced opt-in, sales letter, thank you, download)
- Professional-looking graphics for ebook covers, web page headers, etc.
- Affiliate program
- Auto-responders
- Special offers
- Bonus giveaways
- Articles and press releases to lend credibility
- Promotional blog posts
All just for one speaking engagement, product, or program!
Now even if you are incredibly tech savvy and a proficient marketing writer, how long would it take you to create all of that on your own?
8 hours? Or much more likely, when you factor in the rest of your life because you probably wouldn't be able to drop everything to focus on this one project, 3 days? Or a couple of months or even a year?
At any rate, probably longer than you'd like it to take. If you're like most business owners, you want to profit from your ideas ASAP. It's just very difficult when you're wearing all the hats in the business.
It's my mission to solve that problem once and for all.
I obviously can't add more hours to your days but I can effectively shorten the amount of time it takes you to complete your projects and keep your business running smoothly. In fact, that's where the 80/20 Rule comes in...
What is the 80/20 Rule?
You might have heard of the old 80/20 Rule. If not, let me give you "CliffsNotes" version: A man named Vilfredo Pareto, an Italian economist who worked in the early 1900s, discovered that 80% of the wealth in Italy was controlled by just 20% of the population. He went on to call this ratio of 80 to 20 that of the "vital few" and the "trivial many."
Since then, entrepreneurs and CEOs alike have applied these same numbers to business and found them surprisingly accurate. Here are a few examples:
- 80% of your revenue comes from just 20% of your speaking engagements, services or products.
- 80% of your problems come from 20% of your clients.
- 80% of the busywork involved in running a business directly contributes to only 20% of your profit, while the remaining 20% of your actions pulls in the majority of the cash at a whopping 80%.
Is this something you can identify with? Do you ever feel like you spend most of your time dealing with the 80% of your business that seems so trivial compared to the fulfilling 20% that feeds your vitality, not to mention your pocketbook?
If you're a fan of Stephen Covey's book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, you might identify more with the concept of dealing with the "urgent" matters instead devoting your full attention to what's "important." Instead of advancing your business by making new contacts or getting new products out the door, you constantly run around putting out fires or painstakingly carry out the day to day mundane tasks every business owner encounters.
So what's an intelligent, creative, business owner like yourself with so much to contribute to the world to do?
That's where 8020 Support comes in...
Imagine having someone to take care of all of those trivial details that are necessary to keep the business from falling apart but which don't really get you jumping out of bed for joy every morning. How would it feel to start your day, confident that many duties, both large and small, are being handled masterfully...not by you for a change, but by someone else?

This means that I understand where you are coming from as someone who works in personal growth and development just like you and I can assist you with projects from start to finish. Not only can I help you plan and set the right goals, I can also create products or programs, write and edit the materials and promotional copy, and set up the techie stuff like auto-responders, web sites, blogs, and much more.
And I Actually Enjoy Doing This Stuff for You!
I don't know about you, but I personally hire someone to do my taxes because all those forms drive me nuts. And the person I hire is someone who gets excited about facing the IRS for an audit and thinks it's fun. No lie.
Now I could slog through all the changing tax laws and forms year after year and figure out how to file my own taxes after many agonizing hours. Or I can hand it off to someone who likes finding legal ways to save me money. She can do it faster and in the long run, will do a much better job. Seems pretty straight forward to me.
Well, assisting those in the personal growth and self-improvement arenas is a great passion of mine. Why? It's partly because it is the kind of work I have done myself and which I find very rewarding and also because I hate seeing coaches, internet marketers, and speakers who only want to do good in the world, struggle to get their message out.
I have always been a behind the scenes type of gal. You know what I mean...the one who volunteers to work an event like a conference or workshop in order to stay involved and make sure that things run smoothly. I love supporting superstars and modest working joes alike as long as I share their values and vision. Why should marketing, writing, and technology be the biggest hurdles that actually keep you from getting your work out into the world? You Are My Priority
I only work with a few select clients at any given time. This ensures that your projects are always my priority and won't ever fall through the cracks.
In fact I carefully consult with you in advance to ensure that we are a good fit. If not, I'm happy to refer you to someone else who shares a love of assisting others in growing their business. How Do You Know If You're Ready?
- You're looking for someone who will collaborate with you and bring you ideas on what needs to be done and where to go next based on your personal goals. In other words, you want someone on your team who is proactive.
- You're committed to delegating as much as possible so that you can get to work on what really matters.
- You can commit to working initially at a rapid pace to kick things off.
- You're willing to commit to delegating at least 10 hours of work per month, which can potentially save you 30 hours of your time, or nearly 8 hours per week.
- You're ready to ask for support.
